“The Time of Jacob’s Trouble” is generally applied to the “Great Tribulation” and has
been called “Satan’s attack on Israel of the last days,” and is also identified with Satan’s attack
on the last remnant of the church. (Revelation 12:17) Whereas these are definitely accurate statements, the “Time
of Jacob’s Trouble” began some 3870 years ago (the year was approximately 1868 BC), where we find Jacob embroiled
in an almost life and death struggle with his brother Esau. The place is Rebekah’s womb and the battle was so
intense that she asked Yahveh what it all meant. We find the story in Genesis 25:19-34, where in verse 23 Yahveh answers
Rebekah with a startling prophecy.
“TWO NATIONS ARE IN YOUR WOMB.”
Notice Yahveh says two nations (not two sons) are in your womb and one nation will
be stronger than the other and the elder will serve the younger. Yahveh's basic instruction is that the
first-born would have the birthright blessing, however, the number of times he chose other than the first-born to be the most
blessed are too numerous to be ignored. There was Abel over Cain, Isaac over Ishmael, Jacob over Esau, Joseph over Reuben,
Ephraim over Manasseh, Moses over Aaron, David over his brothers, Solomon over his brothers and others. When we get
to the New Testament we see that Yashua is the first-born among many brethren and that the ekklesia (body of called out believers)
are the church of the first-born. Try to figure and the most common thread you get is that those who were dedicated
to Yahveh and his righteousness (not perfect people but full of faith) were the ones who were chosen, often before birth and
or conception.
JACOB, THE HEEL HOLDER
In Genesis 25-26 we see that red, hairy Esau was born first, followed by Jacob
who almost immediately grabbed Esau’s heel. Look up Strong’s Concordance (hereinafter
called SC), SC #3290, taken from SC #6117, and you find definitions for Jacob’s name as being heel catcher, supplanter,
to circumvent (as if tripping), to restrain (as if holding by the heel). Whereas Esau called Jacob “supplanter”
in Genesis 27:36 (it taints our thinking), Yahveh had already said that Esau would serve Jacob. We see that Esau
despised his birthright. (Genesis 25:23, 34) Also, Esau married two Hittite (Canaanite) girls which grieved (dishonored) Isaac and Rebekah. Jacob, on the other
hand, was a virgin, refusing to fornicate
with the Canaanite girls, until age 60, when he married Leah and Rachel. Jacob was righteous, though he endured
the insults of his unrighteous brother. (Jacob,
the heel holder, was holding Esau’s heel to circumvent or restrain him from kicking him again, as he had done so often
in the womb.)
Hebrews 12:15-17 says that Esau was a profane fornicator who had no respect for anything
good or righteous. Repentance was out of his reach because of his bitterness, that was brought on by his own sins.
Hosea 12:3 says, “He took his brother by the heel in the womb, and by his strength
he had power with Yahveh.” This
scripture proves Jacob’s defensive battle was going on in utero. Read “The Secret Life of the Unborn Child,”
by Thomas Verny, M.D., to learn that from the beginning of the sixth month of the pregnancy, the baby has 100% memory.
It is emotional and experience memory, not language memory. Parents can teach the baby (in utero) all kinds of things,
good and bad, from love to hate, talk to them, play music and watch what kind of music the child likes when he grows up. Without
fail it will be what the parent programmed into the unborn baby’s mind. For 30 years we have been programming
our children with a throw away mentality brought on by Abortion. It will bring, and already has brought on, very
distasteful side effects, from young girls discarding their newborns in trash containers to men murdering their pregnant spouses
to avoid fatherhood. We live in a very profane society, causing the remnant to struggle for understanding
and balance.
THE STORY OF JACOB’S
BIRTH IS THE FIRST OF JACOB’S TROUBLES.
The next recorded trouble comes after Jacob received his father’s blessing, in Genesis
27:34-46 and 28:1-7, and Esau planed to kill him. Jacob, at his mother’s urging and with his father’s blessing
fled his brother’s wrath and went
to Laban Rebekah’s brother, where he met and married his four wives. Twenty years later with 11 of his 12
sons and with much wealth, Jacob returned to be with Isaac and Rebekah. Esau heard about it and came with 400 armed
men to meet Jacob. Four times Yahveh's angel appeared to Esau to warn him not to harm Jacob and it’s not
until the fourth time that Esau got the message and retreated from his plan to harm Jacob. This is another of Jacob’s
troubles. Jacob showered Esau with many expensive gifts and a tenuous peace existed between them.
When Isaac died, another attempt
was made upon Jacob’s life and family by some of Esau’s sons, with Jacob’s sons winning out and killing
some of Esau’s sons. Continual skirmishes occured between the sons of Jacob and Esau’s sons, with
Israel’s sons always winning the battles and hundreds and thousands of Edomites (Esau’s
now dominate name) dying. These were more of Jacob’s troubles.
ISRAEL GOES TO EGYPT
UNTIL THE SINS OF THE CANAANITES AND EDOMITES ARE FULL. (Genesis 15:13-21)
Exactly, to the day, 430 years from Isaac’s birth, Israel left Egypt on the first
Holy Day of Unleavened Bread. Their first encounter with an enemy, between crossing the Red Sea on the last Holy Day
of Unleavened Bread and their arrival at Mount Sinai on the Feast of Pentecost, was with the Amalekites, thereby extending
“Jacob’s Trouble,” (Exodus17:8-16) Amalek was the grandson of Esau and was still embittered; caused
by Esau’s non-repentance. Yahveh put a curse on Amalek that they would be put out of existence. Yahveh also
cursed any future king of Israel who would have pity on Amalek, by cutting him off from Israel. We read of this two-fold
curse, in I Samuel 15:1-35 and 16:1, when Saul saved alive king Agag and some of the Amalekites and Yahveh rejected him
from being king over Israel. Saul and his sons died ignominious deaths and the kingship was given to David, son of Jesse,
in the lineage of Yashua the Messiah.
Jacob and Esau each had twelve sons, with the Israelites numbering about
a billion today, Esau could also number a like amount. Where And Who Are They?
In Genesis 24:60, we read the blessing put upon Rebekah, that she would be the mother of
thousands of millions. A thousand million is a billion. We will see these two brothers again and again in history.
DAVID CONTINUES SAUL’S WAR
In II Samuel 1:1-18, we read of Saul and Jonathan’s death and an Amalekite who claimed
to have killed Saul. David kills this infiltrator for daring to put his hand on Yahveh's anointed. Amalek is all
but forgotten in the pages of the Bible, except for Psalm 83, which is a prophetic, end-time Psalm showing the Moslem conspiracy
against all of Israel, before and as the Great Tribulation occurs (the time of Jacob’s trouble]. Amalek is mentioned
as well as Edom, showing that each of them is a modern force all their own. More on their identity later on.
THE HERODS (FOUR KINGS OVER ISRAEL) WERE OF THE LINEAGE OF ANTIPATER OF IDUMAEA- (EDOM).
(THAYER’S NEW TESTAMENT, LEXICON, #2264, PAGE 280)
The Pharisees related well with the four Herods, with a possibility that most of them
were also Edomites. In John 8:33 the Pharisees say they “were never in bondage to any man.” The true
blood-line Jews had been in bondage to the Babylonians, but the Edomites were not taken captive by Babylon. Also, in
Revelation 3:9, it says there are people who are of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie.
The Pharisees say they are Jews (Abraham’s seed). John 8:33 Although Edomites are Abraham’s seed they are
not of the blood line of Judah. Also Revelation 3:9 uses the word “synagogue” to identify these people who
lie by saying they are Jews. The synagogue was the exclusive name of the buildings used by the Pharisees, as they started their own religion called Judaism, which is
not Yahveh's Old Testament religion. This political and religious infiltration is written about by five or more Biblical
historical writers, Josephus being the chief one. Beginning in 128 BC, Jewish leader, John Hyrcanus, conquered Idumea
(the land of Edom of Petra fame) and forced them to be circumcised and to accept the entire “Jewish law”.
These Edomites became “Religious Jews” (Pharisees) to this very day.
IN 70 AD, THE ROMAN EMPIRE DESTROYED THE TEMPLE AND JERUSALEM AND DROVE THE JEWS OUT OF
THE HOLY LAND, PERMANENTLY.
With the Jews out of Palestine, it was followed by the construction of the “Dome
of the Rock,” on the temple mount (the “abomination that brings desolation” was in place) in Jerusalem,
in 689 AD. The decline of the Roman Empire opened the door for the Ottoman Empire to take over, and it was founded in
1288 AD, in Asia Minor (present day Turkey). It reached its pinnacle in the middle 1500s, as it slowly moved across
Eastern Europe, attempting to move into Israel’s territory (North West Europe). Twice they failed in their attempt
to conquer Vienna, in 1529 AD and again in 1683 AD. Jacob’s Trouble was again and again knocking on the door.
The Ottoman Empire conquered all of Southern Russia during this same time period and continues to occupy it to this very day.
It is known as “Red Russia,” with its occupants being the “Red Edomites,” just like their father,
“Red Esau.” “White (Western) Russia” was, earlier, conquered and occupied by the Vikings called
the Rus, and they are Israelites. The Bolshevik Revolution of the early 1920s AD was a continuation of this “brother
war” known as “Jacob’s Trouble” as the Edomites (Red Russia) gained control over the Israelites (White
Russia).
THE CRUSADES WERE JACOB’S TROUBLE.
The Crusades (from 1096 AD through the 1270s AD) were a series of military expeditions
made by “Christians” (Israelites) of Western Europe to recover Jerusalem and the Holy Land from the Moslems (Edom).
Jacob’s Trouble continued. The Crusades failed and the Moslems (Edom) retained control over the Holy Land and
Jerusalem, until The Balfour Declaration of 1917 AD, which established Palestine as a national home for the Jews. Bitter
Moslem opposition caused the British to turn Palestine into a British Mandate, in 1920. The British Mandate ended on
May 14, 1948, and the state of Israel was proclaimed. This period of “Jacob’s Trouble” lasted for
1878 years, from the destruction of Jerusalem in 70 AD to the forming of Israel, as a nation, in 1948.
“JACOB’S TROUBLE” CONTINUES THROUGH THIS DAY AS THE LEVEL OF VIOLENCE
AND TERRORISM INCREASES AND THE “BIG DAY OF JACOB’S TROUBLE” - THE GREAT TRIBULATION - LOOMS EVER CLOSER.
Let us again turn to Psalm 83 and see what the Moslem World and brother Esau has conspired
together to do to brother Jacob (Israel), at the end of the age. Luke 21:24, 20 calls this “the times of the
Gentiles” when Jerusalem shall be trodden down, a time of “desolation.” Notice in Psalm 83:3-5
that, with crafty counsel, they say, “…let us cut them off from being a nation; that the name of Israel
may be no more in remembrance.”
What are the words of the Moslem world in the Middle East? Is it not to push tiny
“Israel” (the Jews) into the sea, so that they cease to exist? It is the exact same words. Do they
not call the USA and UK the “great Satan” saying the Moslem religion will conquer “Christianity”?
Verse 5 says it is a conspiracy and they are in one accord. Verses 6-8 identify the players. Notice that Edom
(all of the Ottoman Empire including Red Russia) and Ishmael (Arabia) head up the list. Next is Moab, which is south-east
(lower) Iraq, and the Hagarenes, which is Egypt. Gebal is Lebanon, Ammon is Jordan and Amalek is a modern day son of Esau, who we thought was wiped out in
David’s day.
The Philistines still live in Gaza to this day and are known as Palestinians and the people
of Tyre (the Phoenicians) are southern Lebanon. Notice that Assur is joined with them. Asshur is partly in Germany
(which is why there is a close affinity) and in north-western (upper) Iraq and Syria. The Asshur part in Germany and
Syria helps the children of Lot, who are Moab (Iraq) and Ammon (Jordan). Verse 8 ends with the word “Selah”
which means to take a pause and ponder what you just read.
IS THE WHOLE MID-EASTERN MOSLEM WORLD CONSPIRING AGAINST ISRAEL? YES, FOR WE ARE
NOT TALKING ABOUT THE FLAWED INTELLIGENCE OF THE “CIA” OR “BRITISH INTELLIGENCE” BUT THIS IS THE PROPHECY
OF YAHVEH ELOHIM OF THE BIBLE.
Notice Genesis 49:1,22-26 that the prophecy of the sons of Israel for the last days is
spelled out. Of Joseph (USA and UK) it is specifically said that (verse 23) the archers (terrorists) have sorely grieved
him and shot at him and hated him. This includes barracks, embassies, ships, planes, libraries, corporations, World
Trade Towers, the Pentagon, government and aid workers and soldiers beheaded and their bodies abused. WAKE UP! THIS
PROPHECY IS BEING FULFILLED. Verses 24-25 say the mighty YAHVEH ELOHIM of JACOB will strengthen Joseph’s bow
(military power) and the arms (weapons) of your hands and will help thee. Our detractors and the people of the world
call this “Bush’s War” in Iraq, nothing could be further from the truth, for it is the beginning of the
big “end-time of “JACOB’S TROUBLE.” Notice in Jeremiah 30:7 that “he
shall be saved out of it” after corrective measures are taken [verse 11], because our sins were increased. (verse
14). Yahveh has to deal with us as a Father corrects and punishes his son, who has gone astray.
“JACOB’S TROUBLE” ENDS WITH YASHUA’S PRESENCE IN JERUSALEM, AS
HE BRINGS HIS KINGDOM TO ALL THE EARTH, BUT WHAT HAPPENS TO EDOM, MOAB (IRAQ), AMMON (JORDAN) AND THE PHILISTINES (PALESTINIANS)?
The gist of Ezekiel’s prophecy in Ezekiel 25:8-17 is that Edom, Ammon (Jordan) and
the Philistines (Palestinians) will be totally destroyed and their remembrance gone forever. Moab (Iraq) will have great
judgments upon them. Is this so-called “Bush War” some of the judgment that will come upon Iraq by the hand
of my people Israel, as verse 14 says? Ezekiel 35:1-15 says, “Because you (Edom) have had a perpetual hatred of
Israel and have said, these two nations (Israel and Judah) shall be mine. Therefore, as I live, says YAHVEH ELOHIM,
When the whole earth rejoices, (in the millennium) I will make you desolate.” Read the 21 verses of Obadiah and
see that Edom will come against Judah and Jerusalem during the time of Jacob’s Trouble, but Yahveh will use Joseph
(USA and BRITAN) to burn Esau as stubble and there will not be any remaining alive of the house of Esau.
A 200,000,000 (200 MILLION) MAN ARMY - WHO ARE THEY?
Revelation 9:14-17 says that there will be poised in Iraq (four angels in the great river
Euphrates, holding them back) a 200 million man army. This army can be no other than the Moslem hoards mentioned in
Isaiah 63:1-6, Ezekiel 25:12, Ezekiel 35:5, Obadiah 1-21 culminating in Zechariah 14:1-2 & 12-15. Revelation 14:20
says that a 175 mile long valley near Jerusalem, shall have blood up to the horses’ bridles, because so many will
die. Ezekiel 38 and 39 show that Yahveh will bring the large resident hoards of Edomites out of southern, Red Russia
to this battle. Ezekiel 39:12 says it will take seven months to bury all the dead, to cleanse the land. Ezekiel
39:9 says it will take seven years to recycle all the destroyed weaponry, tanks, trucks, guns of every sort, swords and knives, grenades, rocket launchers, cannons,
planes, etc. etc. Isaiah 2:4 says, the weapons will be beaten into plowshares and instruments of productivity.
War and terrorism will never again be learned.
“JACOB’S TROUBLE” WILL BE OVER AS BROTHER ESAU WILL NEVER AGAIN PUT HIS
HEEL ON HIM.
The “Gog and Magog,” mentioned in Revelation 20:7-9, is the lineage of Esau,
plus the rebellious of the earth, down through the ages, which died. They are resurrected after the 7th,
1000 year period, when Satan is also allowed to be free. Satan easily enflames their bitterness again and they come
against the beloved city Jerusalem, the seat of the people of Israel. Whether or not they realize that Yashua's throne
is there is not clear. It is the last and final rebellion as Yashua deals with it very quickly. The brother war
is over, forever.
YAHWEH THE FATHER COMES TO THE EARTH IN REVELATION 21 AND DWELLS WITH HIS PEOPLE, FOREVER
AND EVER.
